During the walkthrough, toddler aged children were observed multiple times walking while drinking from their cups or bottles

During the walkthrough, the kitchen cabinets accessible to children had cleaning supplies and sharp objects in them. No lock or gate prevented access to these cabinets.

During a walkthrough of the home, it was discovered that operation had 8 children in the age range of 2 to 3 years old and a single child under 17 months old in care of a single caregiver. With a single caregiver caring for a single infant, the maximum number of children under 3 but older than 17 months in care can be 6.

This standard was found deficient because some outlets in the home lacked safety covers.

This standard was found deficient after the home's sliding door was found to lack decals or other materials placed at children's eye level.

A child under the age of 18 months was napping in a restrictive device. The child was removed from the device when I informed the caregiver that the child cannot sleep in it.

One child did not have a healthcare provider statement on file.

Four children did not have the address of their emergency contact listed on the enrollment packet.

One child did not have immunization records on file.

At the time of inspection the air unit in the backyard of the home was exposed with no barrier and accessible to children if they were in care.

At the time of inspection, the provider did not have any operational policies written for the child care home to review.
