Childrens Courtyard

During today's inspection, three teachers cared for 12 two-year-old children. The teachers were unable to establish proper behavior, and the classroom was chaotic. Several children were climbing on the tables, throwing toys, and running around the room. The teachers did not redirect the children.

Upon arrival, 6 children are in the office with the office staff which the area is for adult and teachers only.

During the inspection, the 2 years-old classroom children did not wash their hands before eating. The children were playing with the toys and on the floor.

During the walk-through, for p-k and school age playgrounds loose fill were observed low. It was measured only 2 inches.

A health statment needed for one infant in care.

This law was evaluated with regard to an investigation and has been found to be in violation with the Minimum Standard Rules for Licensed Child Care Centers based on observations made at the operation, review of records and supporting documentation, and interviews with parent and caregivers. By not checking the label, a caregiver was giving a wrong breastmilk bottle to a child.

The allegation of a violation of the Minimum Standard Rules for Licensed Child Care Centers was able to be substantiated based on preponderance through observations and interviews with various caregivers.

This standard was under review due to an investigation, and was found to be compliant. A child was left unattended, in a room, for about 30 minutes.

The operation was not able to access the training records on their online program, that stores the trainings for the employee.

Two children had a noted allergy, and they did not have an allergy plan on file.
