I reviewed four child files. Two child files were missing health statements. One file was missing immunization records. One file was missing information about the child's doctor and authorization for the daycare to obtain emergency medical care for the child.
The operation was missing a current health inspection.
The operation was using a picnic table as a piece of climbing equipment. The children were climbing it and jumping off to the ground. It was not installed over loose fill surfacing and did not have proper use zones around it. The director decided to stop using it as climbing equipment.
The operation's outdoor space is not completely fenced by a 4 foot tall fence or barrier. The operation has a variance related to this issue, but they were not meeting the conditions at the inspection. A required screen and bike rack were not being used.
