This structure surpassed the maximum height of 32 inches requirements for children under two. It also was not in compliance with swing set structure requirements or use zones areas.
During the monitoring inspection it was observed that the loose fill under high use areas had been dispersed and under the play dome there was an area with less than 1 inch of loose fill.
During the monitoring inspection it was observed that a caregiver was changing a diaper in gloves and did not wash their hands after removing their gloves. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver was asked to wash their hands between each diaper change, even if wearing gloves, and complied.
During the walk through of the operation, children were observed exiting the second story of the operation. The director was told by the Fire Chief that care could not be provided for children under the age of 5.
The operation did not have a handwashing sink in the diaper change area.
The operational policy was missing the areas explaining employees vaccinations and preventing/responding to abuse/neglect.
A child's Epi-pen expired on 10/6/22. A child's oral medication expired 9/24/22.
