The caregiver had eleven children with one infant and was out of ratio. This was corrected at inspection when the director arrived at the center five minutes later.
In one of the room the electrical outlet was not child proofed. This was corrected at inspection when the director Ms. Allen child proofed the outlet by placing a child proof cover on it.
The caregiver had 14 children with a specificied age group of 2 years upon inspector's arrival. Another caregiver arrived approximately 5 minutes after this inspector's arrival.
A cushion was being used with a cloth sheet covering in the diaper changing table. *This was corrected during the inspection when the cushion was removed, and the surface was not absorbent.
Toxic Chemicals were being stored near the food served to children.
There was peeling paint on the wall, and peeling sheetrock on the ceiling on one classroom. The wall in one classroom had dry rot that was covered with wallpaper. and tape. There was dust buildup on the vents cover. The sinks in the bathroom had low water pressure. Some of the play equipment was missing pieces such as: 3 tricycles were missing foot pedals. There were spider webs, and bird droppings in the play equipment used by children in care. Dirty build up on food preparation equipment and in the refrigerator.
