I observed unsupervised children on the outdoor patio area of the classroom. The caregiver was inside of the classroom. I observed children sleeping in a classroom. The caregivers could not see or hear the children from where they were placed.
Ten children's records were reviewed and the following was determined: Seven needed emergency contact information One needed emergency care information Signatures were needed on food allergy forms for two children with known food allergies.
Caregivers in five of the classrooms inspected were unaware of the number of children present in the room.
Two caregivers were observed caring for children without an initial background check.
