Observed two toddler classrooms who did not have toys in the reach of children. One classroom had the shelf blocking the other shelf which had the toys on them. The other classroom had the shelf turned around and toys on top of the shelf. This was corrected when the toys were put in the reach of the children and Shelves were moved.

It was found after interviewing multilple staff that a caregiver that has conditions on their background check is being left alone in a two year old classroom. The caregivers conditions state that they cannot be left alone with children. During the walkthrough it was seen that the caregiver was present in the room with other caregivers who have no conditions. An administrative penalty will be recommended as a result of this citation, per HRC ?42.078.

Observed overgrown grass on the playground. I spoke to the director about ensuring the grass stays cut .
Out of 10 children files, one child's file was missing a health statement and immunization record.
A caregiver left their classroom area, leaving the children unattended for approximately one minute. The caregiver was informed and understands supervising children at all times means that the assigned caregiver is accountable for each child's care. This includes responsibility for the ongoing activity of each child, appropriate visual and/or auditory awareness, physical proximity, and knowledge of activity requirements and each child's needs. The caregiver received a written disciplinary action and was required to retake supervision training.
