Three infants were combined with the toddler class outside. The youngest child in the group was 16 months and the oldest child was 35 months. This was corrected during the inspection when the infants went back inside to the infant room.

There were 2 infants observed in a chair that is equipped with safety straps and the safety straps were observed to not have been fastened. The caregiver and director removed the children from the chairs.

Children 18months to 2 years old were observed outside on a walk in a non-closed area. The Director brought the children inside and reviewed the ratio and group size standards for walking field trip standards with the caregivers. The Director stated the children will only go outside the fenced area, if the operation has enough caregivers to accommodate the max group sizes for proper supervision.

While doing a walkthrough there were two children under the age of twelve months sleep in their cribs with bibs on. The bibs were immediately removed.

The grounds used for outdoors play requires maintenance as there are tripping hazards. There were several gaps beneath the turf material used on the ground, which could lead to injuries if children trip and fall. There are concerns that during play the children have access to bird droppings and leave that could be put in their mouths, which could be a risk to their health.
