Based on information received from DFPS staff did not demonstrate competency or good judgement in response to this incident. Staff did not seek medical treatment for the child. Staff also failed to notify someone at the elementary school when the child was dropped off what transpired; this would have allowed elementary school staff to be prepared for anything the child may have needed based on what occurred.
