Vessels with Purpose

Medication was observed to be stored in an unlocked cabinet in the foster parent's bathroom. They were locked up during the inspection and observed by RCCR

Only one spouse was providing foster care services, the other was not present in the home and was not properly verified.

The home screening mentioned the foster parents have been separated two times in the past, this was not assessed appropriately. Further the caregivers separated after verification, and the addendum did not address how him leaving the home would affect the dynamics in the home, such as supervision capability.

The foster home had children in the home for frequent babysitting on a daily basis that put it over the capacity limit of 6

prescription medication was left out on the bathroom sink, which was accessible to children in care.

2 out of 3 children in care stated caregiver yells at them as a form of discipline.

One of the two child files did not contain the childs signature or indicate that the child was given a copy of the service plans

One of the two foster home files did not contain notes regarding the discussion with the child in the Quarterly Supervisor visit.

Both child files reviewed did not contain the information regarding known allergies or statement saying no allergies on the outside of the folder.

One of the two child files reviewed did not have a serious incident report.
