The operation did not notify child care regulation after learning about a child being injured while in care and requiring medical treatment.
Based on preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation, two caregivers have yelled at children in care at the operation.
A 6-month-old infant had a blanket inside their crib during nap time. Infant was awake. NOTE: The blanket was removed by caregiver upon my arrival to the room.
One infant was observed in the same group of children as an 11 year old child. In another classroom, a 20-month-old was observed in the same group as a 1-month-old infant. 18-month difference was exceeded. NOTE: This was corrected during the inspection. Children were regrouped and compliance was met.
Child/Caregiver Ratio was deficient in the infant classroom by 1 child. There were 2 caregivers with 11 children ages 1 month to 20 months old. Specified Age Group was 0-11 months old. NOTE: This was corrected by the oldest child being moved to another group. Child/Caregiver Ratio was met.
A new caregiver having unsupervised access to children in care did not have First Aid training.
