An infant was asleep in a swing and the caregiver in charge of the infant was in the food preparation room adjacent to the room. When I spoke with the caregiver, she stated that it was nap time. I returned to the room to see if the action was corrected and the caregiver returned the child to sleep in the restrictive device.

Upon entry to the classroom, I didnt observe a caregiver. The caregiver was found in the food preparation room connected to the class. After many attempts at getting her attention, I realized that she was unable to hear inside the classroom due to a vent fan creating a loud consistent noise. I then went into the room to make her aware of my presence.
