The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed during inspection. How children will be evacuated or relocated to the designated safe area or alternate shelter, who are under 24 months of age, who have limited mobility, or who otherwise may need assistance in an emergency, such as children who have mental, visual, or hearing impairments needs to be added to the plan, as well as how staff will continue to care for the children until each child has been released, and how children will be reunified with parents after evacuation, relocation, or sheltering/lock-down is lifted needs to be added to the plan.

Information needs to be added in the operational policies/parent handbook regarding provisions for breastfeeding mothers, and their right to breastfeed or provide breast milk.

Promtion of physical actvity information needs to be added to include: 1. The benefits of physical activity and outdoor play 2. The duration of physical activity at your operation, both indoor and outdoor 3. The type of physical activity (structured and unstructured) that children may engage in at your operation 4. Each setting in which your physical activity program will take place 5. A plan to ensure physical activity occurs on days when extreme weather conditions prohibit or limit outdoor play.

Information on preventing and responding to abuse and neglect needs to be included in the operational policies/parent handbook to include the following: (A)Required annual training for employees (B)Methods for increasing employee and parent awareness of issues regarding child abuse and neglect, including warning signs that a child may be a victim of abuse or neglect and factors indicating a child is at risk for abuse or neglect (C)Methods for increasing employee and parent awareness of prevention techniques for child abuse and neglect (D) Strategies for coordination between the center and appropriate community organizations; and (E)Actions that the parent of a child who is a victim of abuse or neglect should take to obtain assistance and intervention, including procedures for reporting child abuse or neglect

One child with a diagnosed severe food allergy has a emergency food allergy and anaphylaxis plan that needs a parent's signature.

Loose fill needs to be added to playground. Lining is exposed on playground that can be a tripping hazard.
