Based upon evidence collected during the DFPS investigation, a caregiver was laying down with her back to a child during naptime, which led to the child exiting the operation without the caregiver's knowledge. In addition, the caregiver was observed laying down on the classroom floor during this time.
Based upon evidence collected during the DFPS investigation, it was determined that neglectful supervision occurred when a child exited the operation through the front door and was gone for approximately ten minutes, having crossed a road before being found by a neighbor who alerted the operation of her whereabouts.
