It was observed a caregiver using her personal laptop while supervising children during nap time. Corrected during inspection.
This standard was evaluated in regards to an abuse/neglect investigation. The director did not ensure that the center operated in compliance with the Minimum Standard Rules. This is evidenced by a caregiver being allowed to remain in the classroom after becoming aware of allegations of inappropriate touching and behavior by a caregiver. The director is no longer employed at the operation.
This standard was evaluated in regards to an abuse investigation. Concerns regarding a caregiver's inappropriate touching and questionable behavior towards children in care were not reported by the director or by upper management.
