There were two groups of children that were not in compliance with child/staff ratio. The infant classroom had 5 infants, ages 4-11 months old, with one caregiver. The specified age group was 01-- months. With this specified age group, one caregiver can only care for 4 infants. The toddler classroom has 11 toddlers, ages 13 months to 2 years old, with one caregiver. The specified age group was 18-23 months. With this specified age group, one caregiver can only care for 9 children.
The director is not ensuring the center is operating in compliance with Minimum Standards, laws and rules. The center was out of compliance with child/staff ratios in multiple classrooms, safety issues were observed in the infant classroom and children's records were not up to date.

I observed a 4 month old infant being fed their bottle propped with a blanket. Propping bottles is not allowed. If the child cannot hold the bottle, the caregiver must hold the child and feed them the bottle.
