Records were evaluated for ten children enrolled and the following was determined: Six children needed information such as the name, address, and telephone number of another responsible individual (friend or relative) who should be contacted in an emergency when the parent cannot. Five children needed an updated immunization record. One child needed emergency care information and authorization.

The emergency preparedness was reviewed and the following policies are needed: -Procedures for evacuating and relocating children who are under 24 months of age, who have limited mobility. Communication policies, including: The emergency telephone number that is on file with us. -How you will communicate with local authorities (such as fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services, health department), parents and Child Care Regulation. -How staff will evacuation with essential documentation such as authorization for emergency medical care. -How staff will continue to care for the children until each child has been released. -How the operation will reunify the children with their parents as the evacuation, relocation, or sheltering/lock-down is lifted.
