A caregivers purse was observed to be sitting on a shelf on top of children's toys and activites in the 3-4yr group. The purse was in reach and accessible by children. NOTE:Corrected at inspection, the caregiver removed the purse from the room.
Based on information obtained during the investigation, there is sufficient information to support, infants in care do not go outside.
Director and caregivers must operate in compliance at all times.
Caregiver was observed walking in and out of the classroom during naptime.
A child received medical attention after accidentally seeping a small amount of milk and was transported to ER. This incident happened 1/18/2024 during lunch time and was not reported to Licensing. For this citation there will be an administrative penalty of a flat rate of $500.00.
Licensing did not observe any training for caregiver who was in charge of victim when the ambulance was called. This training is Orientation prevention and responding to allergic reaction.
One new staff name was missing on the current employee list. This was corrected when director added her name to the list and then posted the list.
Three children did not wash their hands after naptime before eating their snack.
Based on the video clip that was forwarded to licensing a staff did pick up a child roughly during naptime and another staff did push another child back onto the cot.
