This standard was reviewed and found to be out of compliance through an investigation. During the investigation, it was determined that caregivers were using television in rooms where children under two years of age were present.

During the inspection two classrooms were observed with the television on, both classrooms had children under 2 years old.
Video footage was observed and the television was seen to be on for more than one hour during the day. This was corrected at the inspection as the director discussed this with staff.
This Minimum Standard was found to be deficient. The caregiver demonstrated poor judgement when she did not report to the front office after she assumed she had grazed a child's finger and saw a blister on that finger had popped.
Both playgrounds that require loose-fill surfacing did not meet the required amount, in some areas dirt was visible.
This Minimum Standard was reviewed and found to be deficient. The operation stated they allowed a person not on the authorized pick-up list to take a child home.
During my walk through of the operation I observed a canister of Clorox Odor Ban sitting in a bucket on the ground in a bathroom. This bathroom was unlocked and the door was open, children were in the room connected to the bathroom. The canister was thrown away during my inspection.
