Ivy Kids Early Learning Center of Manvel

A child was observed left in a classroom unsupervised.

Staff hired on 1/4/2021 had an expired Pediatric First Aid training dated for 7/2022.

Staff hired on 1/4/2021 had an expired Pediatric CPR training dated for 7/2022.

During inspection, one child had expired medication dated 6/30/2022. Noted: pictures were taken

Staff hired on 9/28/2020 had 14 hours of annual training for the 2020-2021 year.

Based on investigation inspection conducted on 6/25/2021. Children were observed running around the classroom and playing roughly.

During follow up inspection, 2 out of the 9 classrooms observed staff did not know the ages of their children. 1 out of the 9 classrooms observed staff did not know how many children they were repsonsible for.

Based on external documentation, admission form that was completed on 8/3/20 was not updated to reflect the change of the child's special needs/allergies.

1 out of the 7 classrooms observed had two caregivers with 37 children. Noted: Director removed two children from the classroom into another classroom. The classroom the children were moved to, are still in ratio.

During inspection, trainings did not have certificates on file.
