The use zones for these slides must extend six feet out from the exit, six feet from the access point where children climb up, and six feet to each side. Having loose-fill in these areas will help prevent injuries, as it provides a shock-aborbing surface in case of a fall.

Out of eight caregivers' files reviewed, one did not have training in the following required topics: abuse and neglect, communicable diseases, food allergies, and handling hazardous materials. This was corrected during the inspection as the caregiver is currently on leave.
Out of eight children's records reviewed, one child was missing an admission date, one was missing an an updated immunization record, and one was missing a physician's health statement.
There was a bottle of cleaning solution in an unlocked cabinet where children could access it. This was corrected during the inspection when the caregiver moved the bottle to a drawer out of the reach of the children.
An electrical outlet in one of the infant rooms did not have a childproof cover. This was corrected during inspection when the director put a childproof cover on the outlet.
