At the time of the visit 3 of the 10 children records reviewed did not have up to date immunization records.
It was found through investigation that a deaf child was left on the playground area after the class had gone inside the building. When conducting the transition the caregiver did not adjust how he accounted for this child based on their specific needs.
Through the course of the investigation it was found that a child in care was able to get outside the fence of the playground without the caregivers awareness. When a second caregiver came to the playground area it was found that the child was outside the fenced area and the child was retrieved and returned to the playground area.
At the time of the inspection the loose fill on all playground was low and did not meet the required depth and dirt was visible at the base of each slide present.
