Four out of five children in care stated foster parents yell at them. Both foster parents admitted to yelling at children in care.

During the investigation, 1 child in care and 2 caregivers stated to the use of profane language being used with children in care. 1 caregiver stated to occasionally using the ?ass? word by saying, ?get your ass in here? and ?your ass is grass?. Another caregiver stated to cursing on one occasion by saying, "get your ass in house?. Additionally, the child in care stated that it is said to the children in care, "get your ass in room".

During the investigation, 3 children in care stated that a child in care is being smacked/popped in the mouth when the child says, ?shut up?, ?hush mouth?, or ?shut your mouth. Additionally, 1 caregiver stated to having said it once that they were going to smack on the mouth, but they did not do it.

During the course of the investigation, it was noted that a child in care's medical visit, which warranted a hospitalization on 11/18/2024, was not reported to the hotline until 11/26/2024.

In 3 of 3 foster home files reviewed- documentation for all or some Supervisory Visit timeframes or requirements were not met for the following: Quarterly, at least once every six-months with both foster parents, at least once a year with all household members, and unannounced twice per year. While transporting and caring for children in care, foster parent consumed alcohol and misused prescription medication, placing the children in care at risk of harm, while operating a motor vehicle.

The caregiver also failed to read the child's service plan which states that the child has an ADHD and ODD diagnosis. Furthermore, the caregiver may have possibly used the "F" word in front of the children.
The caregiver called her husband instead of calling 911 after a child almost drown in the water.
Two children in care, a 2 yo and a 5 yo were not wearing a life jacket while in the swimming pool and the hot tub area.
