The fire alarm has not been checked since December of 2022. This was corrected when the provider tested the alarm and logged the test while I watched.

Two children did not have signed operational policies in their records.

A child was sitting in a walker with wheels. This was corrected when the walker was removed from the childcare area.

A child with a diagnosed food allergy did not have a signed food allergy plan in their records.

Emergency Phone Numbers were not posted. This was corrected when the provider printed, filled in, and posted the emergency numbers.

Two of the four children's records reviewed did not have the date of admission listed.

There was no documentation showing that the required 30 hours of annual training was complete.

The oeprational policies did not include the following items: Discipline and guidance policy,the procedures for parents to visit the child-care home, the procedures for parents to review a copy of the child-care home's most recent Licensing inspection report, Safe sleep for infants 12 months old or and instructions on how a parent may contact the local Licensing office.
