A Royce City ISD staff member was present at the operation before receiving notice from the CBCU regarding the person's eligibility. The employee had been fingerprinted through the ISD.

There were no immunization records for one of the six chilren's records reviewed.

There were 2 children's records of the 6 which were reviewed which did not have a health statement as required. You must ensure all children have a health statement on file that they may attend child care. A health statement is: (1) A written statement, from a health-care professional who has examined the child within the past year, indicating the child is able to take part in the child-care program; (2) A signed affidavit from the parent stating that medical diagnosis and treatment conflict with the tenets and practices of a recognized religious organization of which the parent is an adherent or a member; or (3) A signed statement from the parent giving the name and address of a health-care professional who has examined the child within the past year stating that the child is able to participate in the program. This must be followed by a signed statement from a health-care professional within 12 months of the date of admission. You must have a health statement on file at the center, within one week after the date of admission, for each child who does not attend pre-kindergarten or school away from the child-care center.

There was no verification of liability insurance available at the operation during the inspection.
