Licensing observed a couple of children that had their personal cell devices out using them for over an hour. Licensing advised the site director that there is a one hour electronics standard that is in violation currently by those children using their cell phones. The children were advised to put away their cell phones and one child still persisted to use her phone until asked to do another activity by the site director.
During a DFPS investigation inspection the site director was observed with earphone in her ears listening to music while solely responsible for a group of children. This not only was personal use of electronic devices but also prevented proper supervision.
During a DFPS investigation the children were observed going to the restroom unsupervised. At one point a child was alone in the restroom and the caregiver was outside talking to a parent.
