One clock hour of the annual training hours must cover the following topics: (1) Recognizing and preventing shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma; (2) Understanding and using safe sleep practices and preventing sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS); and (3) Understanding early childhood brain development.

During inspection, there were seven children in care with one caregiver. There were two infants under eighteen months combined with five children between the ages of eighteen months and four years. According to minimum standards, there can only be four children or less age eighteen months to four years combined with two infants under eighteen months if there is only one caregiver present. This was corrected at inspection when another caregiver arrived and the operation was brought into ratio compliance.

Directors trainings reviewed did not have the following; Emergency Preparedness Food allergies, Understanding building and premises, Handling and storing and 6 hrs. of leadership. SIDS and communicable disease. 6 hrs. of leadership.
Three areas on the wall in the infant classroom were observed with peeled paint. An obvious odor lingered throughout the building that may due to gas or plumbing.
Four of the four children files did not have Special Care statement filled out on enrollment. Addition to the same four files not having Healthcare information. And two of the four not having Emergency Care Authorization and Facility care.
