During the inspection, it was learned that the operation did not notify Child Care Regulation of the change in director. Note: This was corrected at inspection when the director provided me with their qualifications.

One caregiver that provides care for children younger than 24 months of age, does not have the required training. One clock hour of the annual training hours must cover the following topics: (1) Recognizing and preventing shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma; (2) Understanding and using safe sleep practices and preventing sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS); and (3) Understanding early childhood brain development.

The Director does not have the required training in the following topics: Preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction; and Administering medication, if applicable, including compliance with ?746.3803 of this title (relating to What authorization must I obtain before administering a medication to a child in my care?)

The operation allowed a 5 year old child in care before requesting that Child Care Regulation amend their permit to add ages 5 years and up. The operation is currently permitted to care for only children between 0-4 years.
