During the walkthrough into the mobile infant classroom, the children were observed being seated at the table without washing hand before lunch was served. Based on the information gathered and interviews conducted the infant caregiver was unaware of having to wash the infant's hands before feeding infants their baby bottles. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection.
Based on the information gathered and interviews conducted at the time of the inspection the caregiver and director determined the television was viewed by the children during breakfast.
During the walkthrough on the playground we observed trash can with no cover and full of trash that is accessible to children and could cause a safety hazard. We also observed a broken asphalt on the playground that can cause a tripping hazard for toddlers. Trash was accomulate on the ground outside of the fence.
The emergency preparedness plan did not specify procedures for evacuating infants under 24 months of age, who have limited mobility, or who otherwise may need assistance in an emergency, such as children who have mental, visual, or hearing. -Continue care and -Reunifying
