A garbage can in the Ferrets Room did not have a lid and was full. Food and paper were observed above the rim of the can. The Assistant Director found the lid and emptied the trash.

There was some Clorox Bleach that was in cabinets located underneath a sink, that was unlocked, in one classroom. There was also sanitizing spray bottles on top of the sink area in two of the classrooms. Note: This was corrected at inspection when the cabinets underneath the sink were locked, making the Clorox bleach inaccessible to children. Additionally the sanitizing spray bottles in the two classrooms where put in high cabinets that only caregivers could reach.

There were 3 children files out of the 10 viewed that did not have the address of the emergency conctact that was listed.

The cribs in the infant room were not labeled with each child's name.

There was a bottle that did not have the infant's first name and last initial labeled on the bottle.

There was less then 6 inches of loose fill around slide exits and under swings on the playground for the older children. The ground/dirt was visible under the loose fill in these areas.

There was a wood plank that had broken off causing a big opening, on the small rock wall attached to the playground structure.

There were three employees that did not have updated CPR and First Aid cards available for review. Note: The three employees have their CPR and First Aid class scheduled for February 21st.

It was determined that a caregiver grabbed a child who was upset by the arm and forced them to walk to a chair to sit down.

The afterschool classroom lacked a flashlight. (Corrected at time of inspection when the director placed a flashlight in the classroom.)

There were two purses in the school-age classroom that were accessible to children. (Corrected at time of inspection when the caregivers removed the purses and were placed in a shelf inaccessible to children.)
