Kids in Action Spring

During the walk, Classroom 221 did not have an emergency evacuation or relocation diagram posted in the classroom. Note: Corrected at inspection. The director posted a diagram in Classroom 221.

While reviewing children's files, one child did not have the Special Needs section completed.

A bottle of disinfectant was found to be accessible to kids in an unlocked cupboard during the walk-through. Note: Corrected at inspection. The caregiver removed the disinfectant, placing it in a locked cupboard where children couldn't access it.

While reviewing staff files, an employee did not have an Affidavit for Application for Employment with a Licensed Operation or Registered Child-Care Home signed and notarized.

In Classroom #213, it was found that the restroom lighting was not working during the walk-through.

Infant feeding documentation was out-of-date as of July 2023 when evaluating feeding instructions. Note: Fixed during inspection. Updated documentation with the most recent feeding instructions date for 09/01/2023 was provided by the director.

It was noticed during the walk-through of the operation that there was no posting for field trips in a visible location where parents and other visitors might see it. Note- A Posting for Field Trip Visible.

While reviewing People List it was discovered one caregiver did not have an active background check. Caregiver was present and accessible to children and counted in ratio.

An initial fire inspection was conducted but it was not passed and corrections must be made.

A sanitation inspection has not been conducted yet as required.
