During the walk through, I observed a blanket in the play yard for two children ages 9 months and 11 months old while they were napping. Note - this was corrected at inspection when the caregiver removed the blanket from the play yard.

The children were allowed to watch television during naptime. Note - This was corrected at inspection when the primary caregiver turned off the television.

One out of ten children records reviewed did not have an immunization record.

The operation's liability insurance was not updated by the anniversary date and the documented date was expired.

The primary caregiver obtained a CPR/First-aid certification via web. There was no documentation for a hands-on course, and/or use of a manikin to properly rehearse/perform hands on skills based on instructions.

Two out of six children records observed did not include a health statement. One child's health statement was dated 08/30/2021, which should have been updated by 08/2022. One child's file did not contain a health statement.

One out of four children's records evaluated did not have updated immunization records on file.

Two out of three dogs did not have proof of up to date vaccinations.

The operation has not been testing the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors monthly. Note- This was corrected during the inspection when the primary caregiver tested the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

The children were allowed to watch television during naptime. Note- This was corrected during the inspection when the television was turned off.

The first aid kit was missing a thermometer, scissors, gauze, and medical tape. Note- This was corrected during the inspection when the missing items were added to the first aid kit.

The operation does not have a written activitiy plan.

There was no statement of health for a pet ferret in the home.

Two out of four children's records evaluated did not have a health statement signed by a physician.

The operational policies were not available for review.

The children had not been signed in for the day. Note- This was corrected during the inspection when the children were signed in.

The operation has not conducted a fire drill in 2021. Note- This was corrected during the inspection when the operation conducted a fire drill.

The operation did not have a Children's Product Safety Annual Certification. Note- This was corrected during the inspection when the primary caregiver completed a Children's Product Safety Annual Certification.

The primary caregiver did not have a background check, and/or fingerprint available for review in the system. The background check had not been renewed within a timely manner.

The licensed child care home has not validated their employee list since 1/24/2020.
