Five children under the age of two was observed with screen time activities. Two children, 18 months of age were watching television from a play pen, while the other children were observing from the couch.
A total of 12 children were observed in care, 12 months- 8 years of age with one caregiver. There were 2 infants, 12 months of age. There were 3 children,18 months of age. There was one 2-year-old in care. There were two, 3 years old. There was three, 4 years old, and one 8-year-old.
A total of 18 out the required 30 annual training hours were observed. Topics that were not observed include: food allergies, guidance and discipline, emergency preparedness, and hazardous materials.
A total of 13 children were observed, 12 months- 4 years of age.
A total of 3 out of the required 24 training hours were observed for one staff/caregiver.
The operation had no documentation of their fire drill since 2021. The operation had no documentation related to their emergency practices.
The Licensed childcare home has been operating for 12 months. The primary caregiver has not validated the background check list. There is no current date for the background/employment validation.
The operation did not have any sign-in and sign-out logs for the children. Note- This was corrected during the inspection when the primary caregiver created a sign-in/sign-out log and signed the children in.
The assistant caregiver does not have current First Aid/CPR certification.
A five-month-old infant who is not yet on table food did not have written feeding instructions on file.
One out of four children's records evaluated did not have a health statement on file.
The primary caregiver did not have documentation of training in the required topics of Child Maltreatment and Preventing the Spread of Communicable Diseases.
