During the follow up inspection the following was observed: Two infants age 12 months and 16 months were observed sitting at a four seat table. The safety straps were not used. Two infants age 11 months and 14 months were observed sitting in high chairs. The safety straps were not used.
The infant caregiver did not wash her hands after diapering.
Records were evaluated for six children enrolled and the following was determined: Two needed updated immunization records. One needed a special needs statement. One needed the emergency contact's address. One needed release persons.
Two caregivers needed skills based CPR training.
The caregiver in the infant classroom did not wash the child's hands after diaper changing.
The emergency preparedness plan did not include the following: -How children will be evacuated or relocated to the designated safe area or alternate shelter, including specific procedures for evacuating and relocating children who are under 24 months of age who have limited mobility, or who otherwise may need assistance in an emergency, such as children who have mental, visual, or hearing impairments. -How children in attendance at the time of the emergency will be accounted for at the designated safe area or alternate shelter. -How your staff will evacuate and relocate with the essential documentation including: (A)Parent and emergency contact telephone numbers for each child in care. (B)Authorization for emergency care for each child in care. (C)The child tracking system information for children in care. -How your staff will continue to care for the children until each child has been released. -How you will reunify the children with their parents as the evacuation, relocation, or sheltering/lock-down is lifted.
