A caregiver was observed at the operation, in a classroom, and caring for children. It was determined the caregiver does not meet the education qualifications.
The sign in and out sheet in the Primary 3 classroom was reviewed and showed 20 of 25 children present were signed in.
The caregiver in the Primary 2 classroom stated 18 children were present. A total of 19 children were observed present in the classroom.
One staff member needs 24 hours of Pre-Service training.

The operations building and grounds checklist was reviewed during this inspection. The checklist available for review was dated in the year 2020.
An incident report was observed in one child's file during the inspection. The child's parents had not signed the report.
Written feeding instructions are needed for two infants in care.
Food Allergy Emergency Plans were reviewed for three children in care and the following was observed: Parent signature is needed for one child in care. Physician signature is needed for one child in care.
A caregiver was present without an initial background and was observed in the classroom caring for children.
I observed an unlabeled bottle in the infant classroom. I observed unlabeled cups in the Toddler 2 classroom.
2 staff members completed online CPR training.
Medication stored for one child enrolled was not in the original container.
I observed cleaning supplies stored next to the hand washing sink in the Toddler 2 classroom. Note: The cleaning supplies were removed from the hand washing sink during this inspection.
The employee list posted shows 10 of 17 staff members.
The sign in and out sheet in the Primary 1 classroom was reviewed and showed five of fifteen children present were signed in.
The Emergency Practices form was reviewed and showed the operation completed one shelter in place drill on 03/25/21. Severe weather drills were conducted on 08/03/21 and 10/19/21.
Updated immunization records are needed for two children enrolled.
The emergency preparedness plan did not include the following: -Procedures for evacuating and relocating children who are under 24 months of age, who have limited mobility, or who otherwise may need assistance in an emergency. -How you will communicate with local authorities (such as fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services, health department), parents and Child Care Regulations. -How your staff will continue to care for the children until each child has been released.
Trainings were reviewed during this inspection and it was determined the operation provided trainings to staff members. The operation received an administrative penalty on 10/12/2020.
A caregiver in the 5 and 6 year old classroom was caring for 9 children without a background check on file.
During the investigation inspection, it was determined supervision was not maintained by the caregivers in the 3 and 4 year old classroom which resulted in the injury of the child in care. Both caregivers were working with the younger group of children and not consistently supervising the older group of children.
