There was more than an 18 month difference observed in the infant room when a toddler was combined with the infants during naptime. The youngest child was 6 months old and the oldest child was 29 months old.
An employee was allowed to be present at the operation and have direct access to children prior to receiving the employee's eligibility status from the Centralized Background Check Unit.
A caregiver was observed caring for 7 infants. The ages of the children in the group were a 5 month old, 11 month old, 14 month old, 15 month, 16 month old, and two 17 month olds. According to the ratio chart the maximum number of children one caregiver may supervise is 5. The group was out of ratio by two children.
